PREMISE

I had the sweet sweet opportunity to direct a few episodes for this series of music videos for Sky Kids. The show was lead by MC Grammar, popular rapper-teacher who creates a bop out of every lesson he teaches. The series teaches little children about events around the year - New Year’s Eve, Halloween, Earth Day, Valentine’s Day, etc.

A very special request by the commissioning production studio - Monkey Kingdom - was to create a brand new style for each episode that are all very appealing for a young audience, full of life and popping colours, crazy patterns and loud visuals.

Due to the extremely fast-paced nature of this project - each episode was made from scratch in less than a month - the development of this project was rapid and each motion graphics artist was tasked with the design of characters, backgrounds and typography.
